At the end of the 90s, Jose experimented with guitars and small keyboards that were gradually replaced by machines, synthesizers and professional software.

Short after that, in 2002, he gets out first release (Still Fucking With Starwhores) and was to be seen performing live at the clubs, although at that time he dedicated more time to his sessions as Spy Dj and to organize electro and techno parties.

In 2012 The Bandit released his first 12 ”on the Artifexbcn label and an e.p. for Prodamkey records.

It is from then on when Jose begins to feel more comfortable with his compositions and to focus more on the production of songs.
Shortly after, he founded Electroclub Recordings, a netlabel that
publishes works by national and international artists deeply involved in the electro community.

In 2018, together with Vema Diodes and María MS, Jose (The Bandit) launched the Útil Records label, which has four releases published on vinyl, among which are his album Novo Area and the recent Ut004, a split e.p. shared with Vema.

The Bandit has a particular vision of electro-influenced by 80s techno and electronics where different forms of experimentation fit, encompassing melancholic melodies, stridency and repetitive patterns with the obvious presence of the tr-808.
