Will was born and raised in Detroit, the birthplace of Electro and Techno. At age 14, he started working in a record store. He spent his nights dancing in clubs like The Shelter, Todd’s, City Club, and The Music Institute, and his days and evenings were spent teaching himself to mix. On the night before Easter Sunday in 1992, Will threw the first ever Detroit Rave at the Majestic theater, it was called “The Holy Rave”. A few months later he threw “Welcome To The Orgasmatron”. Will then helped start “The Factory At Industry”. He also decided to venture into the production side of music and began producing techno and electro. His tracks were released on Matrix and Direct Beat Records out of Detroit. He was then signed to Astralwerks where he released two singles. Will was an opening DJ for act like Moby, and the Chemical Brothers on their first U.S. tour. He also became one of the elite few DJ’s that were part of the Underground Resistance Mobile Strike Force. He now resides in the Palm Beach area where he remains a Billboard Magazine Club Reporter and DJ. His South Florida residencies have included Sphorza, Bliss, Liquid, Vivid and Monarchy. Will and Scratch D from Dynamix II have now re-launched Zero One Music, a record label that has become an outlet for up and coming and seasoned talent in the electro music scene.
